Delete your CloudMeter account
CloudMeter is provided by Mobil80 Solutions and Services Private Limited ("Mobil80"). You can remove yourself from a workspace, or — if you are its Owner — permanently delete a whole workspace and all its data.
If you own the workspace: delete it and all its data
Only a workspace's Owner can delete it. Deletion is done on the CloudMeter web portal, where you can also cancel your plan first. In the mobile app, More → Delete account takes you there.
- Sign in to the CloudMeter portal at portal.cloudmeter.io (or tap More → Delete account → Open portal settings in the app).
- If you have a paid plan, cancel it under Billing.
- Go to Settings and scroll to Close this CloudMeter account.
- Type DELETE and choose Close account permanently.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone, and you are signed out. We delete, in this order:
- all connected cloud credentials (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenAI, WhatsApp and others);
- all workspace data — cost history, alerts, notification settings, team members and invitations;
- the sign-in logins of people whose only workspace this was.
If you are an Admin or Member
You can't delete a workspace you don't own — if you tap More → Delete account in the app, it tells you to contact the Owner (and, for Admins, shows who that is). To delete the workspace and its data, contact its Owner.
To leave a workspace instead, ask the Owner to remove you from Team in the portal, or email us (below) and we will remove you. Your access and your personal notification settings for that workspace are deleted. The workspace itself, which belongs to its Owner, is not affected.
Delete your login and personal data by email
If you can't use the portal, or want your login removed from every workspace, email neeta@mobil80.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm your identity with a one-time code and complete the deletion within 7 days.
What we keep, and for how long
- Invoices and payment records — kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (8 years). Card details are held by our payment providers, never by us.
- Raw cost exports — held in an encrypted archive that deletes itself within 90 days.
- Security logs — kept for up to 90 days, then deleted.
Deleting the CloudMeter app from your phone does not delete your account.
