Privacy Policy

Effective 25 September 2026 · Applies to the CloudMeter web portal, mobile apps and web checkout.

CloudMeter is a multi-cloud cost monitoring service provided by Mobil80 Solutions and Services Private Limited (CIN U72900KA2018PTC118207, registration number 118207; registered office: No. 588, Vidyaranyapura Main Road, next to UNLIMITED, HMT Layout 3rd Block, Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560097, India) ("Mobil80", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Mobil80 is the data controller (the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

1. Data we collect

You give us

We collect automatically

2. How we use it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We process it on the basis of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a secure service, legal obligations, and — where required — your consent (for example, WhatsApp alerts), which you can withdraw at any time in your notification settings.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run CloudMeter, under contracts that require them to protect it:

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy continues to apply).

4. International transfers

Your data is stored in India. Some of our providers may process it in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

6. Security

Cloud credentials and data are encrypted at rest with AWS Key Management Service and in transit with TLS. CloudMeter uses read-only access and cannot change your cloud resources. Sign-in uses one-time email codes rather than passwords. Access inside Mobil80 is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under India's DPDP Act, the EU/UK GDPR and California's CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Most details can be changed in the CloudMeter portal. A workspace Owner can delete the workspace and all its data at any time on the portal (Settings; the app's More → Delete account links there); others can ask the Owner or us — see Delete your account. For any other request, email neeta@mobil80.com. We will verify your identity (usually with a code sent to your account email) and respond within 30 days.

8. Children

CloudMeter is a business service for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the effective date. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect.
